Means to wander about aimlessly. Probably from an even older, obsolete word, extravage, meaning to digress or ramble. I am all about stravaig, both when traveling & in conversations.

After 3 nights of frigid camping in yellerstone, we have a cabin in colter bay in grand teton np. Grizzly & cubs in area - haven't seen. Shower 2nite!
